Szent Borbála Hospital Tatabánya

In 2017, we compiled the planning documentation for the Szent Borbála Hospital in Tatabánya, which covered the partial refurbishment of the existing Building H and the approval of the new Building U.

In early 2021, Strabag Építőipari Zrt. won the public tender commenced for the planning and construction of the new annexe of the hospital. The architects of CÉH were entrusted with designing the licencing and construction plans.

The new “U” building houses inpatient wards, a laboratory, an admissions office, and a spa and physiotherapy center also accessible to outpatients. The new building is connected to the former “B,” “C,” “L,” and “H” buildings via enclosed corridors and bridges.

During the planning work, we take advantage of our BIM methodology that was also certified by BSI (British Standards Institution) in 2020.
